WHO IS LA BARTER?
La. Barter is part of a network of independent Trade Exchanges under the Do Barter umbrella. Hi, I'm Larry Usner; I began my barter career in 1989 as an area broker for another trade exchange. I quickly branched out on my own in 1990 to form Acadiana Trade Exchange. Over a period of 3 1/2 years, brokering a small group of traders in Lafayette, LA, I realized the advantage of being part of a national trade exchange.
In 1993, I joined such a chain, and continued to develop industry contacts throughout the world and felt now was the time to take my clients to the next level.
Growing again, in 2000 I decided to align LA Barter with a national clearinghouse of trade exchanges, offering many more options to both myself and my clients.
Now, over 200 active traders in the Louisiana area keep me busy handling travel arrangements, media requests, and brokering over a million dollars a year in barter transactions.
